Join us on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the Edgecombe Extension office for a tomato canning workshop. Participants will learn all about water bath canning. This hands-on class will teach you all about the equipment you need, how to use the equipment, the importance of using a tested recipe, how to can tomatoes safely, and troubleshoot some canning problems.

The registration fee for this program is $10 per participant and covers the supplies needed for the class. Payment must be received by Wednesday, June 10, 2026 to secure your spot in the class. Payment can be made with cash or check. Checks need to be made payable to Edgecombe Extension Fund and mailed to Edgecombe Extension Office PO Box 129 Tarboro, NC 27886 or you can pay in person at the office at 201 St. Andrew St. Tarboro, NC 27886.
