N.C. Cooperative Extension, Edgecombe County Center is hosting a farmworker safety day on August 20th, 2024. This safety day will last from 9:00am-12:00pm at the East Carolina Agricultural and Education Center. Topics covered in this training will include: WPS Worker Protection Standard Training, Heat stress safety and prevention, Tobacco Illness & NTRM Non Tobacco Related Material, Food Handling Operation/Worker Health and Hygiene, and Basic CPR/First Aid.
