4-H Livestock Ambassador Program

This program is designed for teens involved in the Eastern Carolina 4-H Livestock Show & Sale.  Teens (ages 14-18) as of Jan. 1, 2024 will have a unique opportunity to learn both hands-on and virtual; take field trips, increase their leadership and communication skills, promote agriculture and even job shadow an agriculture expert in the area.

If interested, please apply by October 14, 2024.  The program is based on the schedules of the youth involved to meet once a month starting in November.

Please make sure to get a letter of recommendation from a 4-H Agent, FFA Advisor, Extension Agent or employer to provide this requirement.  Applications can be turned in at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Edgecombe County Center or emailed to Tanya_Heath@ncsu.edu
