September is National Preparedness Month, this is a great time to update or create your family or community disaster plan and emergency kit.


It is important to plan for weather-related emergencies before they happen to help your family and community cope during and after the storm. This free virtual session will cover easy free or low-cost ways to prepare your family, friends, and your community to be prepared before disaster strikes.


This Session Will Cover:

A collage of extreme weather events.
  • 4 simple steps to disaster planning
  • How to create a low-cost basic emergency kit
  • Ways to minimize the degree of loss or harm
  • How to protect your home and assets
  • Sharpening your disaster preparedness toolbox
  • Lots of free guides, resources, and more!
