This workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning more about safely making jams, jellies, and other sweet spreads at home. This hands-on class will cover the different types of sweet spreads, how to prepare sweet spreads safely, and troubleshooting of canning issues with jams and jellies.

The class will be held at the Edgecombe Extension Office in the Family and Consumer Science kitchen. The registration fee is $10.00 and must be received by Wednesday, May 6, 2026 to secure your place in the class. Please make checks payable to Edgecombe Extension Fund and they can be dropped off at the office or mailed to Edgecombe Cooperative Extension PO Box 129 Tarboro, NC 27886.
