Join us on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Edgecombe Extension office for a pressure canning workshop. Participants will learn all about pressure canning. This hands-on class will teach you all about the equipment you need, how to use the equipment, the importance of using a tested recipe, how to can green beans safely, and troubleshoot some canning problems.

The registration fee for this program is $10 per participant and covers the supplies needed for the class. Payment must be received by Thursday, June 25, 2026 to secure your spot in the class. Payment can be made with cash or check. Checks need to be made payable to Edgecombe Extension Fund and mailed to Edgecombe Extension Office PO Box 129 Tarboro, NC 27886 or you can pay in person at the office at 201 St. Andrew St. Tarboro, NC 27886.
