The 2023 Edgecombe Cotton Yield Contest is now available. Please consider entering the contest even if you think that your yields would not be competitive because it is important in helping determine our county cotton yield. Complete the form below and return it to our office by 5:00pm January 22nd, 2024.
Any producer with cotton grown in Edgecombe County will be eligible for the yield contest. The total acreage for a producer must be considered, including any cotton grown in other counties. Entries must be received in our office by 5:00pm of January 22nd, 2024. If you do not wish to participate in the contest but rather just give the data to Edgecombe Extension for documentation, please make note on the form.
The Cotton Yield Contest application form is available below to complete on your own or you can visit the Edgecombe Extension office to get a physical copy. The top yields in each division will require their Gin Cards to certify yields.
