The holiday season is fast approaching so make this season one to remember. You can start by attending our Homemade Holiday Program on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The program will be held at the Nash County Farmers Market at Rocky Mount Mills Historic District from 9:00 a.m. – noon. There is nothing like receiving a homemade gift or a gift from the heart. Take the stress out of the holiday season by learning how to give holiday gifts straight from your kitchen. Participants will make holiday kitchen gifts and will receive a recipe booklet with many more gifts from the kitchen they can make at home with their family. The program will also be a time of crafting as participants learn how to make homemade holiday decorations such as clothes rack Christmas Trees and tobacco stick stars. The program will consist of a holiday floral arranging presentation and bow making presentation. This is a family event and a time to enjoy being with your friends and family. There will be a children’s craft program as well.

The cost to attend is $15 and the deadline to register is November 2, 2018. Payment must be made at the time of registration. To register, please call the Nash County Extension Office at 252-459-9810 or the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Edgecombe County office at 252-641-7821.
