delicious meals. Each session contains several basic cooking techniques. Participants will learn skills such as proper knife handling skills, how to cut up a chicken, how to prepare a menu, and much more. The program will discuss healthy and nutritious meal planning, and participants will learn tips to stretch their food dollar while eating healthy. N.C. Cooperative Extension, Edgecombe County Center will host the Cook Smart Eat Smart Cooking School beginning in October. The class dates are October 16,18, 23, 25. The classes will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end around 9:00 p.m. The cost of the program is $30.00 and registration and payment are due to the N.C.
