Edgecombe County Cooperative Extension will be hosting a summer home canning workshop series. Participants will learn how to safely preserve several summer vegetables using a pressure cooker. The series will consist of the following workshops

Tuesday, June 5 – Green Beans

Tuesday, June 26 – Squash

Tuesday, July 24 – Tomatoes

Tuesday, August 7 – Sweet Potatoes

The registration fee is $10.00 per class. You do not have to attend all the classes. All classes will begin at 5:30 p.m. Space is limited so please contact the extension office at 252-641-7821 to sign up or email rpmosele@ncsu.edu.
